• Contractions

Additionally, given the dynamic nature of Arena cards and non-alignment with paper magic, the decision has been made to remove all MTG Arena only expansions and formats. This will free up compute resources and ease maintenance.

Any deck that contained cards from these expansions have been updated with the original versions of those card instead. These expansions contained 50 cards that were unique to MTG Arena. Unfortunately, those cards had to be removed from all decks.

• Miscellany

Finally, some other changes that have been made since our last announcement:

• Front-end build system overhaul which drastically sped up the build
• Significant optimizations and reductions in bundle-size for faster page loads
• Fixed issue where Zendikar Expeditions, Amonkhet Invocations, and Kaladesh Inventions were showing up as legal in Pioneer
• Fixed issue with drag and drop not catching
• Fixed issue where clicking card image links in non-logged in public deck articles would clear the screen
